Cartesiam is now an official Silicon Labs Design Network partner
Cartesiam Joins the Silicon Labs Design Network to Offer Unprecedented Self AI Learning Capabilities to the EFM32 Gecko MCU family.
SANTA CLARA, CA (IoTWorld) – May 15 Cartesiam announced that it has made its patented technology NanoEdge™ AI available on Silicon Labs EFM32 Gecko microcontrollers and is joining the Silicon Labs Design Network thereby making its framework available to more developers around the world.
Cartesiam NanoEdge™ AI is an artificial intelligence technology enabling to create ML models from signals acquired by multiple types of sensors directly inside microcontrollers and allows anomaly detection based on self created embedded knowledge.
NanoEdge™ AI can run autonomously in a microcontroller both for the learning phase and for the analysis. This brings the full power of Machine Learning right where the data are created without any needs of pre-trained Cloud based neural network models. With NanoEdge™ AI, product designers can now easily integrate local AI training and analysis capabilities into their code, optimized for Silicon-Labs EFM32 microcontrollers.
A first implementation of this partnership is also presented at IoT-World with Bob Assistant https://bobassistant.com/en/offer/ a solution jointly developed by Eolane http://corporate.eolane.com/ and Cartesiam on Silicon Labs hardware technology. Bob Assistant is a predictive maintenance solution able to learn and analyze engines patterns to anticipate operational issues. Bob Assistant is already running in multiple industrial sites including Veolia, Airbus, Schneider electric, Renault and Thales, and for diverse use cases such as power plant engine control, water sanitation plants and bottling factories.
